Frequently Asked Questions

A porch is a covered, open space at the entrance of a building, often extending along the front or sides. A stoop is a small set of steps with a platform leading to a building's entrance, typically without a roof.

A stoop should typically be 3 to 4 feet deep to provide enough space for comfortable entry and exit, ensuring safety and practical use. This depth accommodates sitting and adds an aesthetic entryway to the home.

Standard stoop sizes vary, but typically include a depth of 3 to 5 feet and a width of 5 to 7 feet. The height is usually one to four steps above ground level, depending on local building codes and house design.

Stoops can be built using various materials, including concrete, brick, wood, and stone. Design styles include traditional, modern, or rustic. They can also feature elements like railings, steps, or decorative accents, tailored to the home's architecture and personal preference.

After the job started, we decided to add our side steps along the side of our house. Their team was professional and courteous to work with. After each day of work, John and Miles touched base with us to see if we were happy with the progress. After the job was complete, we decided to have All Paving & Masonary LI to change oue existing retaining wall garden on the other side of our house to match the new pavers and retaing wall that was just completed.
