Frequently Asked Questions

Patio pavers are flat construction pieces used to create outdoor flooring surfaces, typically made from materials like concrete, brick, or stone. They interlock or are laid in patterns to form patios, walkways, or driveways, offering durability, aesthetic appeal, and versatility in landscape design.

Under pavers, typically a layer of compacted gravel or crushed stone is used for stability and drainage, followed by a layer of sand for leveling. This foundation prevents shifting and allows for proper water drainage, ensuring the longevity of the paver installation.

Bluestone can be more expensive than concrete pavers due to its natural stone properties and durability. However, prices vary based on location, quality, and specific product lines, so it's best to compare local prices for accurate cost assessments.

Bluestone patios can last 30 to 50 years or more with proper installation and maintenance. Sealing, regular cleaning, and addressing any damage promptly can extend their lifespan significantly.

After the job started, we decided to add our side steps along the side of our house. Their team was professional and courteous to work with. After each day of work, John and Miles touched base with us to see if we were happy with the progress. After the job was complete, we decided to have All Paving & Masonary LI to change oue existing retaining wall garden on the other side of our house to match the new pavers and retaing wall that was just completed.
